All you need is a pencil and hair spray.

1. Section your hair into manageable amounts.

2. Take a small piece of hair and coil it around the pencil.

3. Holding the pencil put the straighteners on hair squeezing and hold for 5 seconds.

4. Move down the pencil until you have got all your hair.

5. After you have curled all your hair use hairspray it will not need loads and loads just enough to lock the hold.

Enjoy!
I do agree with the pencil and hairspray technique, but the other way, would be to get some bobby pins and while your hair is wet, take strands about a half inch thick or so, depending on how slow/fast you'd want them to dry and twist and roll and pin to your head. You can twist or roll it however and it usually works. Let it dry either overnight, or via hairdryer and go from there. I hope this helps. Good luck!
Pencil %26amp; hairspray technique will work like previously said. But that takes forever.

Here is a faster technique.

If you wet your hair. get some Ganier curling gel and spray it into your hands. Scrunch up until you have the desired curliness you want.
Plait damp hair, it should be wavy when it dries.
a little mousse braid the hair and let dry, take braids down and you have waves.
put it up in a messy bun and leave it that way for atleast an hour. its easier if you have thick hair.
after washing your hair, hairspray it.

it should be wavy-ish
