How do I go from straight hair to nappy hair?

I am thinking of getting twisties with my natural hair, but I want to take out the relaxer I have in a safe way without breaking off my hair or making it brittle. Any suggestions???How do I go from straight hair to nappy hair?
you can do this by letting your hair grow out without relaxing it, but make sure you keep it conditioned. when you are ready you will have to cut all the relaxed hair off. it can get frustrating but if it is what you want, go for it. i would say wash your hair once a week, deep condition it, let it air dry, use the least amount of heat on it as passable and wrap it to keep your ends from splitting until you cut the relaxed part off. also keep it moisturized. How do I go from straight hair to nappy hair?
perm it realllly tight
never heard of anyone ever wanting to do this
A relaxer is PERMANENT and putting a perm over a relaxer would leave you bald. The directions tell you never to do that. You have to grow out your relaxer and cut the straight part off when your ready. You could cut it off cut and wear a little fro for a while. I went natural by growing out my relaxer for a few months and the cuttting it off into a fro.
PERM!!!
