How do you get perfectly straight hair to have that wet wavy look?

I have straight hair, I want to have that wet wavy look but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone tell me how or if it is even possible?How do you get perfectly straight hair to have that wet wavy look?
i do this all the time!! ok:


what you'll need:


1. scrunching gel and/or very small curling iron


2. 2 ponytail holders


3. braiding skills


4. wide-toothed comb


5. Hairspray IF YOU WANT..





step1: when you come out of the shower, wrap your wet hair in a towel and leave it on for 5 minutes. When you take it off it will be damp. Braid wet hair (2 pigtail braids, TIGHT!) normally for waves more at the bottom of your hair (like ur picture) OR french braid for full on waves.


step2: Wait until the hair is all dry in your braids (sleep on it.)


step 3: when all hair is completely dry (in the morning) you COULD brush out your hair with a wide-toothed to remove frizz. It won't bother your waves too much!


step 4: then take scrunching gel (I use herbal essences totally twisted scrunching gel) and scrunch your waves to give it that extra look. Take a small curling iron, wrapping half-an-inch sections of hair around it and curling it. Tug on the bottom of that curl to make it more a wave.


step 5: apply any other products u need (not too much or else hair will be too heavy!) and then maybe clip your hair back, or let it down. and TADA!!! You have beautifulwaves!!! i do this all the time so yaa i know what i'm doing...

When You Are Drying Your Hair Get A Curling Brush. Its Just Like A Normal Brush But That Has Bristles All The Way In A Sort Of Circle. When You Are Drying It Put The Brush Under Your Hair And Wrap A Peice Of Hair Round Half The Brush. Making Sure Not To Overlap Your Hair On The Brush Because It Will Proberly Get Stuck And Thats Not Good Lol. After That Blow Dry Your Hair Doing That To Each Section Of Hair. It Would Take Quite A while And Would Probly Need Someone To Do The Back But It Works Really well. x Hope That Made Sence x
