How do I make my straight hair curly for a long period of time?

I have pretty straight hair, and it will not hold anything for a long period of time; if I curl it with a curling iron it will eventually fall out. I need a technique that is inexpensive and that really works!

How about after you curl your hair,you spray some hairspray on. It helps your hair stays longer.But don't overdo the spray you want it to look natural. Just spray like a little bit. One of the brand that my sister use is ';bigsexyhair'; .

Perm at salons but be careful where u go..And also depends if you're hair is healthy. Do not do it if it is the slightest unhealthy..My hair came back literally like straw and elastic.
