How can I make my straight hair look wavy without curling iron and possibly w/o sticky product?

I have fine, straight hair and would like to make it look beachy and wavy without a curling iron, and without making it feel sticky or crunchy if I were to add a product.

ok what you do is you put your hair in braids for a while, and it comes out wavy, and really pretty!!


for even better results, after you take a shower, while your hair is wet, braid it then, and go to sleep.


in the morning it will look lovely :]

A good mousse from a salon wouldn't make your hair sticky and a curling iron might be the only thing that works but you can ask a stylist at a salon and they should tell you what you can do.





If you know someone who can french braid hair then get them to braid your hair and leave it in for a few hours and it won't be too curly if you don't leave it in that long. Overnight would be very curly, but a few hours would be okay.
me i have naturally wavy hair but when i want it to look more wavy i take a shower put conditioner and after i get my wet hair and put it in a messy bun and be with it alll day you can go to sleep with it and in the morning take it off and i get more curly hair i think its pretty and cool
well first let me say something, OMG YOU ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE STRAIGHT HAIR!! I'M SO JEALOUS, okay ennyways this is what i told my friend that has straight hair, i told her to sleep with her hair wet like really wet like when you just got out of the shower, it might curl a bit but it works! :) and, then bend down , like your head to the floor and your hair falling and all, then brush your hair , and with your fingers, shake them into your hair, god it's so hard to explain xD
the very best thing you can do is put it in French brads on each side of your head and then sleep with them in, and then take it out in the morning and you will have very silky pretty waves.


if you want big waves make the braid loose, if you want a lot of small waves make sure the braid is very tight!!!!
You can put it in a messy bun after you take a shower while your hair is still wet. If that doesn't work add a product to it, such as herbal essences scrunching gel.
Wash your hair at night, brade it and sleep with it overnight, in the morning you'll have waves.

Make a mixture of sea salt and water and spray it in your hair and scrunch it.
Braid your hair at night and sleep like that. And the next moring it will be wavey.
shower before bed and sleep with it wet but put a towel over your pillow so it doesn't get wet
i wouldnt mess with ur hair cause i have curly hair and i hate it! i always straighten mine
