How do you get board straight hair to curl and stay curled?

Ok, So for halloween in going to be Shirley Temple and i need a way to keep my naturally board straight hair curly. I have tried curling irons and my hair falls like two seconds after i curl it.How do you get board straight hair to curl and stay curled?
try this....after washing, blow dry hair a bit just so its not dripping wet. When your hair is still damp apply mousse then, use rollers on your hair(make sure its really secure and tight).when all the rollers are in place dry your hair with it.make sure you use the dry in between the rollers to dry your roots.when you are sure all your hair is dry.use a lot, i mean a lot of hair spray all over your hair.then use the hair dryer again.then when everything is dry you can start undoing the rollers one by one. be sure to not unroll the curls....use more hair spray and i think that would probably work......hope that helpsHow do you get board straight hair to curl and stay curled?
Uhmm. I suggest that you put in a heat protectant that helps hold anything you do to your hair. And it gets rid of frizz. I use V05 and it really helps me. And you have to leave the curling iron in your hair a lot longer. And then some light hairspray in the end. But not too much. That will get it wet and make it straight again :)
spray a voluminizing spray in your hair, then put big heated rollers in. (bigger rollers will work better than the smaller ones since your hair is so straight) when your done, spray hairspray over your curls to help keep their shape. good luck :)
