It rarely get in tangles, and its not frizzy.
But I don't want to ruen it with the wrong brush. What type of brush or comb is the best? What is the best type of hairbrush for thick straight hair?
A 100% boar bristle brush. A boar bristle brush won't damage your hair like a metal or plastic brush. Boar bristles are hair, and hair can't damage hair. A boar bristle brush will also distribute oils from your roots to the rest of your hair. That's why such brushes claim to make your hair shiny. A quality brush will have slightly stiff and white-tipped bristles. You can pick one up at Target, a drug store, or a beauty supply store. What is the best type of hairbrush for thick straight hair?
paddle brush (square)
100 percent pure boar bristles brush
I use a big padded paddle brush, its more for my comfort rather than my hair though, I don't know how ';good'; it is for hair
i would say a ';wide tooth comb'; if u say u don't get tangles. my daughter has the same kind of hair, and that is what she uses. her hair is a little bit below her shoulders, and it works for her.
Flat brush, natural bristles
i've used the same brush for years cause i can't find another like it
it has very thin clear plastic bristles without knobs on the tip (like some brushes have) the bristles are about as thick as ... angel hair pasta? and are in little clumps all over the brush, medium spacing.
I love this brush and I have long, thick hair - but have never been able to find anything like it - I think it is from Avon?
