Straight Hair?

My hair is naturally curly/wavy, as in wavy from the top curly from the bottom and well...i dislike my hair. I prefer my hair to be straight so i straighten it. Sure it damages it but its straight right?

Straightening in the morning or when going out is a pain, but my question is: is there a way to permanently or temporary (weeks or at least a whole day) straighten your hair?

Plus my hair is frizzy...i use a shampoo that ';makes it straight'; but all it does is make it less frizzy and wavy any suggestions/answers to this question?Straight Hair?
You can go to a salon and have your hair chemically straightened permenantly or get a home straightener, both of which can really damage your hair. I know some people who have done it, it only made their hair look worse cause then it was just straight and frizzy like they stuck their finger in a light socket! I have really curly hair and I straighten my hair no more than once a week with a flat iron and some C.H.I. silk serum (it makes it look like it is naturally shiny and sliky straight) and besides that just find a style that works with your hair or get the Pros to do it!!!!!!Straight Hair?
Oh my gosh i totally understand you I straighten my hair twice a week and have tried every shampoo that claims to make your hair straight and less frizzy. Trust me they only talk the talk. Try using heat protector before you straighten your hair so it doesn't burn as much.

If you like your hair Japanese straight you can go to the saloon and get it done but that is a little too slippery for me. Just go and ask for a straight perm it lasts about six months.
For the straightening thing, I'd prob look into chemical straightening systems or just learn to leave a few extra minutes to straighter real quick. Its easier if you flip your head over to straighten more quickly.

For the friz theres an awesome product called infusium 23 leave in treatment.

its amazing. and really cheap like 5 bucks at a drug store

hope that helps, and look at this link for some good tips and products.

also you could cut your hair short, i personal think boys with wavy or curly hair are cute, im sure its not as bad as you think it is.
yes of course there is

Its called chemical straightening or relaxing and you can buy a home kit for the same price as a hair dye or get it done in a salon.

It damages your hair though
japanese hair straigten. the perm last a life time (:
Yeah I have super curly hair and have had it permanently straightened. There is a system called Matrix Opti-Smooth. They have a cold smoothing and hot smoothing. The Cold smoothing is temporary and just smooths your curls and relaxs them and the hot smoothing is permanent. They do it now at most salons. I've had the hot smoothing done and am very pleased with the results. It is very expensive. It cost me close to $700 but it only takes me 5 minutes to flat iron my hair once it's dry. The cold smoothing is much less expensive ($300) and would mak your hair (as my stylist described it) like jessica simpson curls. However depending on your hair length it will cost more or less.

go to this link and under product line choose opti.smooth to find a salon that does it by you. Call and schedule a consultation, it's free and they will give you a price estimate.

You can get a perm, but it straightens your hair. This damages your hair, but the only way not to damage it is using a LOT of hair stuff like leave in conditioners..
chemically straightened go to a salon and they put crap in your hair and its kinda like a perm but it just straighteneds your hair its awsome
My hair is very frizzy and curly too. What my mom used to do was my realxers from a drug store and put it in my hair. Yeah it worked but it damaged my hair badly. So i waited until it all grew out and got it proffessionally relaxed. My hiar is straiight, non frizzy, and very smooth. It ranges from about $100-$300 depending on the salon and youre hair type but its worth it. And when you straighten your hair, dont wash it beause when you straighten it, the heat will burn the oil and grease instead of your actual hair.
yes there is Chemical straightening and it is a far more serious venture to consider, as it is like a perm - it actually physically changes the structure of your hair, so extra care is necessary looking after chemically straightened hair. It is advised that you have chemical straightening done professionally, as there are some serious chemicals used in the process, and if not correctly applied you may burn your scalp or your skin, and cause damage and breakage to your hair. and i have a friend who did it and her hair looks amazing so you just have to take care of it and it is alot easier then straiting it everyday
