How do you make naturally straight hair permantly wavy?

I recent cut my hair to donate and now my hair is a little past my shoulders. It's naturally straight and I'm really tired of it. I want to make a change and possibly make it wavy or get it cut. Suggestions?How do you make naturally straight hair permantly wavy?
If you want to make it permanently wavy, then you would have to get a perm. But remember, your outgrowth will be straight, so you will have to ';grow'; the perm out if you know what I mean.





If you do consider getting a perm, and want waves not curls, make sure to tell your hair stylist you want to use the biggest rod size they have and see the size of it. If it is not big enough, you can go to Sally Beauty and buy your own bag of perm rods. They come in all sizes.





If you decide you just want a change, then consider adding some layers to funk it up. Or maybe a heavy side fringe or blunt fringe. There are some really cute shag hairstyles that I love cutting for medium length hair. Here are some examples:

Wash your hair and braid it when it is wet , keep it for 5 - 6 hours





open the braid and u will get nice sexy waves





then apply a hair spray to hold ur hair
perm it.


its like when people with wavy hair use perm-a-straight.


so their hair will stay straight.
try herbal hessences purple bottle for wavy hair... it turned my straight hair wavy!
Get a perm.
Get a loose perm
