So, my current hair style is soft, curly, and is sort of a mini curly Afro when I don't do anything to it. I'm looking on how to do brush down my hair but not in it's curly form, but rather in a straight soft-like form. When I usually get out the shower, my hair is always laying down straight, shiny, but curly in the front near my forehead but I'm assuming it's because I let my hair air dry. Once it's done drying, it turns into a soft curly Afro. How do I get soft straight hair without using any hair products?
As your hair is naturally curly, unless you dry it into the style you want there is no way you can get it straight without using excess heat, or products.
You can use a hair relaxer, this will make your hair less curly but not necessarily poker straight. This is a permanent process and will last until it grows out. When more curly hair grows, you will need to relax it again.
If you don't want to use chemicals on your hair you could try using hair straighteners. They're not for girls, I use them and so do plenty of other men that come into our salon.
If you do not want to use excess heat then it is a case of drying your hair into style. Once your hair gets wet it will return to its curly state so it is important to use products such as liquid gels and styling lotions as they will keep your hair in the style for longer, these products also have heat protectors in them.
Hope I've helped. How do I get soft straight hair without using any hair products?
Well if you want it straight.... you should wet it and then blow dry it... to make it soft you should brush it down with one of those baby brush things because i found mine from when i was a baby and it made my hair really soft....
you could use a flat iron...
