I have naturally wavy hair, and I hate it...
I use a straightener, but that never gets me through the day. My hair always gets all curly and wavy after a couple hours.
Is there any way I can have straight hair? How can I get perfectly straight hair?
get it permanlty straightned at a salonHow can I get perfectly straight hair?
Hi there. Now, your first given clue to us is that, it's natural. Now, this have to deal with the genetics. Being wavy and so on, it's all in the disulphide bond in your DNA, and nothing can be done about that.
Straightener only gives effect to those less-wavy hair (most of the time) but ain't permanent. Your hair kept on growing and it's always new from the bottom.
Now, there's 2 way for you to do this:
1. Rebonding
2. Live with it. Everyone is given by nature how we should look like and sometimes, people change it. Some people will look very nice in wavy hair (you don't like it wavy doesn't mean people don't like to see you in wavy hair, perhaps, they are jealous?).
Have a nice-hair-day.
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.
In terms of performance:
The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd and Chameleon. These are top of the line professional brands
Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,
Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss
Below Average: Conair, Remington, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap drugstore brands that tend to cause hair damages. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.
=== Flat Iron Hair Straighteners FAQ ======
Q: What size should I choose?
A: For most people, 1';, 1-1/4'; or 1.5'; are all good choices. If you have very thick, coarse, long or ethic hair, bigger size (1.5'; or 2';) will save you some time. If you have thin, fine hair, get a smaller one (1'; or 3/4';).
Q: What temperature should I should on my hair?
A: Based on my expereince, 380F is the average temperature to use. If you hair is thick and coarse, bump it up a bit, if you hair is fine or overprocessed, start it at somewhere 300F, and try it. If the setting does not work well for you, increase a bit until you get a setting that works well for you but does not burn your hair. Trial and error.

Don't try permanent straightening, I did and my hair started to fall out in clumps
What you want to do is spray a little bit of hairspray on your hair while it's still wet, and then blowdry
Then straighten
It holds the straight-ness in place

I just moved to Atlanta and the humidity is destroying my straight hair styles- any tips?
I've got naturally puffier/wavier type blonde hair and like to straighten it. Are there any fantastic products out there to keep the humidity from puffing my hair back out after 30 minutes? I've only tried the Garnier Fructic line, and it didn't seem to do much for me. Thanks for any tips!I just moved to Atlanta and the humidity is destroying my straight hair styles- any tips?
Try Wired by Rusk. It's a flexible styling creme that you put into your hair when you're done straightening it.

How do I look classy with little makeup? I have dark straight hair and hazel green eyes.?
I want to look glamerous, but not trashy. I've been told I need to work on my look, to stand a chance in the entertainment industry. How do I look classy with little makeup? I have dark straight hair and hazel green eyes.?
I wear my makeup in what I've been told looks very 'classy', and we have the same coloring! It's all about looking well put-together but not overdone. Here's what I do:
Wash face and moisturize
Apply a light foundation evenly over the whole face
Cover up and blemishes with concealer
Use a large brush to apply a light dusting of blush over the apple of my cheeks (I use a rosy pink)
Starting at about the middle of my upper lids, I draw a line of black liquid liner to the outer edges, with a tiny little tail at the end (I ALWAYS get complements on my eye makeup)
Apply one coat of mascara to the upper and lower lashes
Finish up with some clear lip gloss, and done!
I use mainly cover girl products, I find they work really well and I don't blow a wad of cash on my makeup products.
Just make sure you buy blush, foundation, and eyeliners that match your tones. How do I look classy with little makeup? I have dark straight hair and hazel green eyes.?
Stick with sheer gloss and two coats of mascara. You'll look polished but not over done.
go to the mall, and find a MAC. This question goes to those who actually work makeup for a living. There are very good at it, and I say be comftorable with what they say or it isn't worth it
you can go with anything but you'd probally for classy make up go good in navy or gray smokey eyes and a bit of berry or reddish lip stick (if your going for classy). i could tell you exactly what would look good on you and what you need to get if you had a picture of you. maybe add a picture and i'll come back and tell you more.
purple eye liner really brings out greens eyes so try usin a little of tht. only use a little mascara to make lashes look more natural .. hope this helped xx
Go just a little darker with a smokey eyeshadow and black eyeliner. Your foundation needs to match your skin but then add a little bronzer.
Go to any major department store...Belk, Dillards, etc...they offer makeovers to show you how to wear makeup.reliable web hosting

How do I get that wet curls look for my naturally straight hair?
I see people with straight hair have curls the next day and their hair looks wet, How do I get that look? Keep in mind that I also have naturally red hair thats layered. How do I get that wet curls look for my naturally straight hair?
get out the shower, let ur hair get damp but still wet, comb it, put gel in your hand and rub it so its even on ur hand, flip ur hair over and get ur hands and just squeeze the hair from tip to root, repeat the process while adding gel ads needed, u could blow dry it but invest in a diffuser to attach to the bolw dryer, if u use a diffuser flip ur head over and just motion the diffuser up and down all over ur head, this will give u volume and a more curly look, i grab a top section and clip it back. How do I get that wet curls look for my naturally straight hair?
after u get out of the shower, towel dry your hair and put gel through it and scrunch it (i usually bend over and take my hair in the palm of my hand from the bottom and push it all the way to my roots and make a fist) after you do that to all your hair, blow dry it a little while scrunching it (not all the way) and then put your hair in a messy bun to let it air dry a little more...when you take it down you will have wet looking curls even if you have naturally straight hair like you and i do...also the fact that you have layers will make it look curlier...good luck girl
They probably straighten their hair.

Does anyone know of any good ways to get my partly straight hair wavy?
I have wavy/straight hair but it doesn't look very good wavy. My mom won't let me get a perm and my hair is really layered so it's hard to use hot rollers and things like that. Are there any good suggestions on products or something like that to get my hair really wavy? Thanks ya'll!Does anyone know of any good ways to get my partly straight hair wavy?
I agree with your mom, a perm will damage your hair. Have you tried a big braid when you go to sleep? Have a shower at night and make your mom put a big braid in your hair, go to sleep and when you wake up in the morning take the braid out and you'll have nice big waves. You might need an anti-frizz balm to run through it. Have you also tried diffusing it?Does anyone know of any good ways to get my partly straight hair wavy?
put in some leave in conditioner when u get out of the shower ..towel dry and put ur hair up into a messy bun.....wait for the hair to dry or sleep with it like that and in the morning ur hair will be wavy
when it is wet put some gell in it and scrunch it i twill turn out wavy and beautiful and let it dry try it i do it to mine all the time it looks really pretty trust me!
put braids or plaits in ur hair while it is wet.
Use ';Dippity Do'; gel all over and finger wave your hair then let it dry or sit under a bonnet dryer....use an air-vent brush for a fluffy effect or a wide-toothed comb for a more severe and flat look, or leave it alone for the quintessential 30's look!
great product herbal essences totally twisted. my daughter and i love it
electrocution lol don't try this I was just joking stay away from the tub with the toaster

How do I get straight hair out of the shower, without blow drying?
OK so I'm going on an in-town mission trip in a couple days. We are working all day, and then we take showers at a school, and I don't have time to blow dry my hair. I have short-ish hair that is wavy. But now that its shorter, the waves are messed up :(
